Throughout the year, sixth graders cover a variety of mathematical concepts.  The sixth grade curriculum is focused on learners being able to adeptly use decimals and fractions.  Other concepts that will be covered during the year are:  number theory, fractions, probability, geometry, statistics, algebra, and customary and metric measurement.  The new Georgia Standards can be found at : Georgia Performance Standards for Math
